Our QUAD Pro – Mogami cables use G&H XLR and/or TRS connectors with gold plated contacts for better conductivity and resistance to wear, connected to Mogami 2534 Neglex Quad cable – an audiophile quality 4 conductor cable with a spiral wound shield. This is the ‘go to’ cable at many studios worldwide. The Quad cable configuration inherently cancels noise, including internal noise generated by the cable when it’s moving around. Mogami 2534 NEGLEX Quad Cable
Reference Standard NEGLEX 2534 Quad High Definition Mic. Cable has become popular around the world as the standard for high quality digital and analog recording. Quad cables are perfect for home studios suffering from wiring and grounding problems, also on stage to minimize noise created by moving cables, as well as where intense RFI interference is a problem. There’s two pair of wires in a Quad cable, in a standard cable there’s one twisted pair. Noise generated by one pair tends to be out of phase with the adjacent pair, so it cancels it’s generated noise. Double conductor quad cables are effective in canceling noise that can get past even the best of shields.
